individual design project
2017
The aim of this project was to humanise parametric architecture from two perspectives: first, by introducing digital fabrication techniques into the construction process, instead of applying traditional construction methods to achieve smooth forms, I intended to lower the overall cost and make parametric architecture more affordable; secondly, by making the architecture easy to fabricate and build with hand tools, electrical power tools or computer-aided machines, I would like to encourage not only the professionals but also the community to take part in the construction process to make parametric architecture more communal.
